  A Message for You


This message is just for you.  It’s the most important message you can ever read, and it begins with a question.

If you were to die today,
are you 100 percent sure
you’d go to Heaven?

If you’re not sure, you can get it settled today.  Read on to learn what the Bible says about how you can be sure. Many believe good works or church membership are their ticket to Heaven. The truth is we could never be good enough to make it to Heaven, because no matter how hard we try, we are not perfect. Please keep reading, because there's good news ahead.


WE ALL HAVE SINNED. 

      Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  

We’ve all sinned, or done something that causes us to miss the mark and come short of perfection. At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God. Maybe it was taking something that wasn't yours or telling a "little white lie."


SIN HAS A PENALTY.

      “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”       Romans 6:23

The payment for your sin--no matter how big or small the sin--is death and separation from God forever in a burning lake of fire.  This is a terrible fate, but the story doesn’t end there. Going to Heaven is a free gift.  You can’t work for it or be good enough to earn it. 

JESUS PAID THE PENALTY.

 
Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

God proved His love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and shed His blood to pay the price for your sin.  Jesus took your place on the cross and paid the penalty for you.

BELIEVE ON JESUS TODAY.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

God offers to you the gift of eternal life. The decision to accept that gift is up to you. To believe on Jesus Christ as Savior means to trust that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven. 


PRAY SINCERELY.

“Dear Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and I deserve Hell.  I believe You died on the cross, paid the penalty for my sin, and rose from the dead three days later.  I am trusting You, Jesus, and only You to forgive my sin and save me and take me to Heaven when I die.  Please help me to turn away from sin and let You direct my steps. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.”
